It's always a bittersweet day when I make these.
I'm sad for the loss of the loved one, yet hopeful that the bead will become a precious keepsake.
People often feel shy about asking about this process, so here are some answers to the questions I get most often:
I work with the ashes of any loved one;
(pets and and yes humans too.)
Unfortunately, I’m unable to work with “Aquamation” ashes.
I only require a half teaspoon of ashes.
The pendant beads are a flat lentil shape;
the small size is 3/4 of an inch across
and the large size is about 1 1/4 inch.
The price usually ranges from $30 to $75 depending on the size and design.
